For the Love of Blue
A journey to explore the healing, the myths and the stories of the world's favourite colour
Wednesday 17th March - Wednesday 7th April
7.30pm - 9.30pm
“I am the one to give voice to your dreams,
lay back, look up into the wide-open skies, with me you are free to soar and to fly,
dare to dream your wildest dreams.
I wrap you in my arms to make you feel safe and care for you when your sun doesn’t shine,
and when you need me, I will always be by your side.”
From his forthcoming book Colour for Life
Blue skies, turquoise seas, feeling blue, are just some of our associations visually and emotionally with a colour that is considered to be the world's favourite.
Blue maybe the world's favourite, and with good reason, it's warm, it's cold, it's deep and it's light and fluffy too. It can make you laugh; it can make you cry; it can make you shout; and at the same time, it can submit you to complete silence.
Blue can do all of this and more, but what is blue to you, what is your blue?
Each week I will guide you through different experiences to help you get to know your own honourable blue.
In discovering your blue you'll find it opens a doorway to a whole new world of hopes, dreams and long forgotten stories.
Through blue you will discover self-care and healing rituals to assist you with your wellbeing.
As we dive deeper into the depths of the blues you will find your own symbols. Symbols for aligning yourself to your authentic voice, the longings of the Soul, as well as symbols for healing and everyday living.
Come join me on this 4-week journey to discover your honest and trustworthy Blue.
